This combination leads to the fact that during the treatment procedure, the temperature of the tissue to be treated rises to 39-40°C, blood and lymph circulation is activated, and the movement of sodium and potassium ions through the membrane of skin cells is enhanced. This improves: the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the extracellular matrix and cells; excretion of metabolic products; proliferative and synthetic activity of cells, in particular fibroblasts.
All this contributes to the restructuring of the extracellular matrix, the formation of collagen type, improvement of the structure of elastin fibers and their organization, restoration of normal blood and lymph circulation, reorganization of the basement membrane, and increased elasticity of connective tissue. It also makes it possible to introduce cosmetics into the skin through electroporation.
